Default ek carbon fiber trunk help!!!

im getting my carbon fiber trunk for a ek in a few days and i just wanted to know who had some experiece with putting them on...the trunk im getting is a VIS...how much did it cost you to take it to a shop to switch out the back window...and how to remove the trunk lock and put it on the cf trunk...if you can answer my questions that would be very helpful...any tips would help me out alot....

so its for a hatch?? that would have helped alot if you would have mentioned it. and different shops charge different things as far as the window replacement goes.

well actually your car is NOT an ek...sorry to say. it is an ej6. and most people refer to ek as 96-00 civic coupes, sedans, and hatches. just trying to clarify. next time be more specific.

You couldn't be more wrong.
"EK" is a generic term for 96-00 civics, like said above, Its also fairly annoying.


Call shops, get prices.

id recommend using a lexan rear window if you can. i installed one for a friend and it split on the inside seam at the window and the lock plate area cracked. i assume it was from the window being to heavy for the c/f. he got a new one and put in lexan no more split. over a $1000 later though
