Default which traction bar to choose?

hello guys first off i did search and i dont know if its this new h/t setup but i didnt get many threads. i need a traction bar for my 97 hatch with a fully built gsr. what are my options? so far i have seen full race, lakewood, avid, edt, etc. which would you guys choose? and why? i saw that the lakewood cost around 280 and full race cost 400 is there a big difference between them to justify paying 120 more? i dont care about the price i just want to get the best one out there for my money. thanks in advanced.

I have a brand new ETD/K-Tuned in the Drag Racing For Sale Page (See Page #1). It also has the adjustable rad mounts so it will work for a K engine, or any B or D.

Good Deal $280 shipped + Paypal..

Please note that the above pictures are not what I am selling.. Nice to see Tuna still bringing that from the dead.

There are tons of those bars still out there though and in Sept I was driving around the track with the main tube totally seperated from the brackets. If I didn't see the ETD bar failed topic just by CHANCE.... I would have been out there again without even checking it....and who knows what would have happened going 140 around a corner. I had no idea it was even an issue. I welded the bar up but I mean seriously how scary is that. Would you want to be going around a road course like that? How are people supposed to know unless they see posts...they might not even search for something like bar failure.

I've installed 2 Full-race bars on friends cars, and owned 2 myself. Can't beat the quality of the bars they sell. They even made a custom bar for me when I needed my second one for my K swap.

Spend your money wisely and get yourself a Full-Race one you won't need another traction bar again.

Avid Racing Pro Series bars FTW!! I've sold a **** load of these bars and they are the best IMHO.

It's actually made from Mil-T 6736B (1 5/8" x .083 wall) 4130 Chromoly. You get nice BEEFY 5/8" Aurora Rod Ends not cheap Taiwanese rod ends. Solid Radius arms, not hollow tube. And I don't know any of the other companies that offer Lifetime warranties with their bars besides Avid.

Avid also makes a sweet traction bar that allows for a 4" Downpipe... I ordered the Pro Series bar and it was being a pain. Franklin over there being the awesome dude he is, took back that bar that was causing problems in exchange for a bar that had better clearance and tucked right behind the radiator support. I'm very pleased and would recommend them to anyone.

check our our SPfab bar in the sponsor section

chromoly constrution

thru-hole tabs

teflon lined radius rods

BILLET radius rods - NOT SWAGGED TUBES like most competition

everyone else listed makes a great product also

but i believe ours is on special at the lowest price/highest quality out of the bunch.

What a pissing contest...lol

I've used most of the above, and recently have been using and selling the AVID bars more and more. Nothing but success and no headaches
