Will degreeing the cams be mandatory??

Default Will degreeing the cams be mandatory??

Me and a buddy are building a gsr the pistons are 12.0:1 and we are using skunk2 stage2 pro series cams? will the valve clearances be okay or will degreeing be mandatory?

besides the missing pieces of your story like

1. what cc the pistons are
2. what the head measures
3. which HG you use
4. what the shape of the dome looks like
5. where you plan on setting the cams. overlap gets dangerous with those sticks
6. what you've done to keep the VT and bottom end together at the 10,200rpm those cams scream to.
7. how much material was taken off the head and block
8. i would either talk to someone who's used those cams or clay the motor. pro2's are all out race cams that don't leave a lot of room for error.
