Thinking of swaping out my stock projector for maybe E46 or TSX.

I see couple car on here for sale that has it and just want to get some inputs on it.

1-it is simple as taken out your old projector and swaping with the new one?
2-would you have to bolt or screw anything down to keep it align or in place?


If any of you have done this before please chime in with detail and maybe some before and after pictures.

Definitely not as simple as bolting them out and back in...the old one is part of the internal frame of the light. You have to cut/grind away the old cutoff shield and drill holes to mount the new one. You also have to make sure they stay rotationally aligned so you're cutoffs are parallel when you're done. It took me about 2 and a half days to do mine, using a few online DIY's...search for some, and check out hidplanet for a nice listing of them as well.
