If you looked harder you could find a way to contact him before you go bashing him on HT. He sells the valve covers after he powdercoats them on ebay. Message him through there if you really want to contact him. It's pretty easy to google trg-coatings and find info on the company!

He only charges a set amount and that's why he can't buy them for alot. His profit margin is only so big so you have to understand where he's coming from on not wanting valve covers if you want too much for them.

Just saw this thread. Lets get some stuff straight. I paid for this item on november 12th and hadnt received it so i filed a paypal dispute, NOT A CLAIM. I had no way of contacting him since honda-tech switched to a new format and all the PM's were cleared. So i filed a paypal dispute as a way to get in contact with him. I never escalated it to a claim, i just simply asked him what the tracking number was since i hadnt received it. I get very itchy on honda-tech because in the 6 years i have been buying and selling on here ive gotten ripped off more times than id like to remember by people. So i file the dispute and he emails me this:

"hey dumb *** i sent you the tracking number through hondatech do you want it again
0308 2040 0002 3002 4709 so cancel the paypal dispute"

He claims he sent me the tracking number on the old forum but i have no proof if he did or not being that they switched format. Its as simple as that. I asked him what the tracking number is and he flipped his lid and wigged out and i guess started this thread accusing me of being a scammer.

Like vshavoc said, i charge a certain core charge when i sell my items, thats why i am not willing to overpay for a core cover unless a customer tells me its ok and theyre willing to pay a higher core charge to offset it. If youre offended that i wont buy your cover for more than i think its worth then so be it.

 

Have you ever thought maybe he's on vacation for the holiday? You need to chill on the insults too "smart guy". You don't really explain anything in your first post. Did he file a non-receipt of parts through paypal or just message you saying he hasn't recieved his parts? How did you message him with the tracking number? Through paypal dispute, ebay, his email, etc? If he filed a non-receipt of parts all you have to do is give paypal the info you have (tracking number, delivery confirmation, etc.) and they will tell him you don't owe him anything. Did you get delivery confirmation or pay for insurance on the valve cover? I do tons of shipping and sometimes the USPS website won't even say that it has showed up and just keeps saying in transit. Did you send it priority mail or parcel post? Parcel post is the slowest and could take well over a week to recieve. I've had things sent parcel post take over a month to show up. Until it says delivered and he keeps saying he hasn't received it you shouldn't be on here accusing him of being a scammer. I don't even know the guy or have done any business with him but I know what you're doing is not respectable.

You should learn some business ethics. You don't go on a public forum with your personal problems that aren't even close to resolved because everyone who reads this will think "damn I better not buy or do business with trg-coatings because they shafted this guy". It's ruining his business reputation before you even know what the deal is. I would understand if it's been like a month and paypal has filed a dispute against you and are telling you to give his money back even though you have given proof you shipped it, but it seems to me this is the first deal you've done through here since you're a noob and you're jumping to conclusions. Don't bother insulting me anymore because I'm done schooling you and won't check this post again. Good luck in life with that great attitude you have!

Yes i filed a non receipt complaint because i didnt receive the package. In the note section i asked for the tracking number.

 

is it my fault that honda tech changed formats no i sent the package and i sent the tracking number then i resent you the tracking number directly to your email and your to much of a dumbass to check the status and you still will not resolve the dispute

the whole problem was he went about this very ****ed up instead of emailing me first to say he didnt get the tracking number because honda tech changed there format he filed a paypal dispute he claims he didnt remember my honda tech screen name fine i believe that but you had my receipt in your paypal account with my email you could have emailed me privately instead you made a claim and they froze money in my account that is why im ****ing pissed
