Default Need help ASAP please...

I'm having my Rota Slipstreams put on in a couple of hours, but was not able to get a new set of lugnuts. I need to know if my stock lug nuts will work for now, and also will my valvestems work or will I need a new set of those also. Any info would be great, I'd hate to have the tires mounted on the new wheels and then not be able to have them fit properly. Thanks guys, hope you can help me out...

I have been told that you must do a minimum of 5 complete nuts turn.

When I put spacers, I could made 5 turns so I let the stock ones.

Not good. The slips require the use of Cone lug nuts. The stock lugnuts are acorn. You will be ok to like drive home and stuff, but I would definately get a new set of cone type lugs ASAP.

I never re-use valve stems. Not worth the hassle. They're only like 2 bucks each new, why no put em in!

How odd... I was told Rota's used Cones. (I have Rotas).

Cone Lugs have straight sides. Kinda look like an upsidedown trapezoid when you look at a profile.

Acorn Lugs have rounded sides, but still go in at an angle...

Good Luck.

If you're questioning the wheel, grab a straight edge and put it and your face real close to the holes, and see what it looks like...

The tire places I've been to replace these without even asking. It seems to just be a standard thing to do.
