o2 sensor b18b eg (searched)
hello HT i bought a swap and the o2 sensor was depinned and i need to which color goes into which spot, the helms manual i have wasnt clear.
i have the car running but i think i repinned it wrong because
when i drive everything will be fine. but if i turn off the car once its warm then turn it on and drive it will bog if i go Wide open throttle under 3k rpm but once im over 3k rpms it will be fine.
i have a 96 b18b
94 eg civic hatch
OBD1 ECU
and i need the color and placement at the o2 sensor not at the ecu

well one easy way to figure this out,
both black wires will be o2 heater when you put a volt meter across these leads you will get +12 when the key is clicked forward twice, the polarity of these wires makes no difference.
white will be o2 sensor signal
green will be sensor ground "not car ground' sensor ground goes to the ecu D21 D22 either pin works as they are internally connected.
from the color of the wires on the car not the 02 sensor
you should have a green, orange, a white and a yellow with a black stripe
Green = sensor ground
orange = A6 o2 sensor heater
yellow = +12 key on
white = o2 sensor signal D14
finding the ecu pins is easy have a friend help you "white and green"
the other 2 pins for o2 heater has no polarity "black and black"
give it a whirl
