dizzy
hey guys well my ignitor went out and i am planing on buying a new dizzy
i took the dizzy off to look for the part number but it was a remanufactured unit and the stamp has long dissapeard so im wondering if anyone knows the oem part number for a 91 crx dizzy
and i found this dizzy and am wondering if it is since both the hf and dx are 1.5 litters

it is way cheaper than what my local autopart stores charge and i want to keep my old dizzy to rebuild it

It seems a good enough gamble. To me, the alternative is to find a decent junkyard dizzy, cannibalize the housing, clean the housing (the three engine control sensors get oily and dirty), install new, all OEM cap, rotor, igniter, and ignition coil, with new O-ring seal and shaft seal. This will run you about $200 total for parts.
