Default Brake Light Help!!!!!!!!

Well I brought new bulbs for my CRX the other day figuring it was blown bulbs. I replaced them and I cant figure out why my brake lights arent working. Where should I start diagnosing the problem at first?

if you don't have the underdash diagram on the fuse cover, then just pull 1 fuse at a time, checking to see if it is blown, and if not then put it back where it goes before moving to the next one. if you find one that is blown then replace it with the proper amp fuse and see if that fixes your problem.

well the way i do it is with a test light u ground the test light and u touch the little metal part of the fuse on top with the test light probe if the test light lights up on both sides then its good save me a bunch of time

ps the key has to be on the 2nd position for some of the fuses to light

the switch could very well not be makin contact. Also there are ground in the back if u take the covers down and plugs to remove the tail lights w/o takin the bulbs out. check that out that might be the prob
PS-- look under the hood for any fuses in the fuse block for the tailights

I might have to check the wires to see if they have ground. My fuse box is under the dash. I have a B16 swap in the car also. I dont see a switch on the brake pedal so I am assuming thats the problem but im not ruling anything else out. I just hope its not wiring

by the sound of it its probably wiring... are your blinkers and reverse light working? your wiring harness might not work with your swap ive seen it happen before (crx hf w/ h2b swap)

Are you sure? its above the pedal itself attached to a "tab" that lines up with #8 in the pic below

Thanks Grog That Diagram was a life saver Buddy. And to JDMED3 yea my reverse lights and blinkers work. I just hope it isnt a wiring problem because I suck at wiring.
