Tein S. Tech VS. Skunk2
Hi guys!
I need help deciding which springs to choose. I bought all new OEM shocks, because the shock/springs on my car now are blown and I have like 3" clearance on my oil pan, and am unsure of which brand to get. Before you help me choose, I'm actually going to help you guys out by posting my situation like no one on here does. Ride comfort and height are MORE important than how low I sit, or how much body roll is reduced, but I still want a little performance. If I didn't I would just get OEM springs to and have 2 feet of clearance lol. Living in Alberta, 99.987% of our roads are absolute crap and telling from experience riding in a car that is SLAMMED and has STIFF suspension, is more painful than any of you can think of. Driving with my car so low physically can't let me go a lot of places because of speed bumps, etc. Hell, I can't even make it into an oil change shop because my car scraps going in (no joke). So because of this, I am leaning towards the Tein's. I've read they drop you 1.9" or something where as the Skunk2 lowering springs are 2.5". Not to sure exactly. I've also read that the Tein's are better as in turn of ride quality, such as absorbing bumps, potholes, etc. What are your guys experiences with these springs? Thanks a lot
