Default Early/pre-race/short review of LHT master cylinder brace

What a difference! I concur with those who attested that they could feel a huge improvement while simply backing out of their driveway.

Ship times could definitely be improved, but Scott did get it to me before this weekend, which is when I needed it.

Install is a snap, directions are not necessary, and best of all a much firmer pedal feel is had (even with ss lines).

I'll post up another review after racing with it this weekend, but for now, this mc brace definitely gets in my book.

who hopes Tran won't paint it some f&f color this weekend

hmm... You know this is illegal in H2, right? Warren and I were one of the first two people to jump on this, until we found out. Just an FYI. Any Mods other than those listed in the rules are illegal and I asked if they could allow us to run MC braces, and I was told that no more changes would be made to the rules this year.

That's where my info came from... well actually it was Scott, but I assume they are together on their decision.

It's just a little black piece of metal. Nobody would've noticed if he weren't bragging about it.

Dude... not an issue with me. Run whatever you want as far as I'm concerned... Just wanted to let you know beforehand, that there were reasons why several (if not many) other drivers did not do this. Not trying to be a dick.. just trying to save some time and/or embarassment at the track. cool?

If these rules do not expressly state a modification is allowed, its is not allowed

Don't take it the wrong way, Robert. The frustration wasn't directed at you in the least. Definitely cool

I don't see why it can't be added to the rules for next season... Jason, I for one would never protest anything that gave a better braking feel.. I know how important that is to a racer... Unfortunally, I am going to have to make up my own rig for the prelude..

I say use it.. It will not make your lap times faster, but it is confidence inspiring, which is a great thing going into T11 at CMP at 120+

I didn't... And I hope you didn't... It's all good Probably should have just IM'd you. Just wanted to let you know... I'm sure there are others who might want to know also. I have already put in a request for this to be one of the first mods added to the rulebook for next year, as I feel it would not only improve feel, but add safety support for those with rusty firewalls...LOL.

I completely agree with you, and have also put in the same request. We'll see what happens

See you tomorrow at the track!

Confidence is what creates faster laps. IMHO

P.S. Tanks are not fast either
