Default Civic just dies

I'm new to this forum so you probably already discussed this but...I have a '93 Civic 3 door 1.5 that will die going down the road or at a stop light. The check engine light comes on as it dies, let it set for 1-5 mins and it starts up and runs fine. I have changed the fuel filter. I don't know if its fuel or ignition at this point. I does not backfire. Once it refires, the check engine light goes out. Any ideas.

Help

Default I give

My Haynes book said to pull the two wire connection out from the right side. I checked on the net and they said it was a green rubbery connector. This I found. It has three wires on one side and two on the other. I tried jumpering this out and succeded in blowing the fuse on the buzzer.
Am I on the wrong connector? My book doesn't mention a green connector.

I think it's blue. Should be a 2 pin connector.

OK I'll look again. Thanks for the quick response. I'm trying to not appear to be a complete idiot.

Thanks, I jumpered the "two" wire connector and apparently there isn't a code set. Nothing happened.

I left the jumper in place and will read it the next time this happens.

Thanks
