I have a 97 civic hatch with 99-00 dash conversion. The illumination lights used to flicker on and off but stay steady most times. Now, the lights don't even turn on any more. The bulbs look ok. I have a feeling power is not getting to where it needs to be. I guess I need to find out which wire I'm supposed to check. Ideas?

 

check the harness on your dimmer switch. mine wouldnt come on and it turns out someone cut the harness off. maybe it is somewere in the connection for that..

 

I figured it out. On the smaller grey clip, the red/black wire is the one that supplies a 12v when the light switches on. It wasn't getting 12v for whatever reason so I just tapped another 12v source into it. dimmer and everything else works. I'm happy.
