Default Engine noise.. squealing/whistling

2000 Integra LS, manual, 134k Anything else you guys need I'll provide here. Should be plenty to go off of below.

Ok so its about 15 degrees out when I start the car.. not a problem. I end up taking off and it starts about 2300 RPM's.. Squealing or whistling.. not sure exactly how to describe it. Its engine related. Load dosent seem to matter either. And it almost goes away when the engine is warm. Fuel economy is the same as its been for the months Ive had the vehicle. And dosent appear to be burning oil.

Stopped in a parking lot as soon as I heard the noise. Turned the car off... turned back on. No noise again.. free reved the engine up slowly. Noise started at 2300 lasted to about 2700 rpm. Dropped off completely after that. And no noise under said range. WAsnt really jack I could do about it sitting in BFE at 4am sooo... drove it home after a check of internal components. Everything looked fine... couldnt hear a pinhole leak in the intake vaclines etc. Still not discounting those but unlikely as the pitch dosent increase with higher rpms and it goes away.

Tried the RPM range again after then engine warmed up... Much less noise and much less range. About 25-50 rpms total of light barely audiable squeal running at regular operating temp.

Thoughts? Ive got mine but im witholding till I see a few other guesses

Possibility that the oil is uber thick and you're hearing the sound of the pistons scrape the cylinder walls?

Definetly not a belt squeak.

Oil.. might be in this temp. Its getting near an oil change, age and mileage, but it dosent explain why its making noise still when the engine is warm.

Headed out to poke around to see if I can locate where the nose is exactly and narrow some stuff down.. I'll let you guys know what I find.

Noise at an idle for about 15 seconds tops.. didnt get worse as the rpm's rose. Coming off the belt side of the motor.. Engione finally threw a code, So I'll have to sto by a friends house to use their scanner.

It was a bs pollution code.
P1457 or something like that.
Squeal only seems to turn up when its cold.. at about 30 degrees it's barely audiable for about 15-30 seconds in the same 2500 rpm range.. after that its gone.

Thinking its the alternator bearing giving out, or the bearing on the timing belt tensioner. Still not positive here, but I dont see any loss in performance etc to lead me to beleive its something major.
