08 accord, humming noises from front tweeters?
i currently have a new '08 accord, fully-loaded, with color navi
i have a planet audio vx900d mono-amp powering (1x) JL W6v2 [400RMS]
and a o2 2-channel amp powering (4x) aftermarket speakers and (2x) factory 'tweeters' mounted by the side-view mirrors
i took out the center channel subs so to allow the bass from the JL's to travel through that hole, which i must say, sounds very clean with VERY, VERY little rattling...... not as much as before when the bass in the trunk was sealed tight with no opening space for the bass to travel
so anyways...... i'm getting this stranger humming/buzzing noise coming out of the front 2 tweeters when the stereo system is off, or when its playing at a very low volume when i disconnect the tweeters.... the "noise" is gone, and nowhere to be heard of my installer and i suggest we re-route the tweeters to be fed by the factory radio power lines (which will be done this coming Monday morning) 'cuz the amp might be causing some kind of interference?
i'm running a couple of hi-2-lo's ...not sure how many
my friend suggested i get a sound processor.....
such as the audiocontrol LC6? or JL CleanSweep?
what is everyone's opinion on this matter?
any suggestions?

What are the "aftermarket" speakers, make and models?
A processor, [OEM interface unit] like the JL Audio Clean Sweep will be a huge improvement over the LOCs, [hi-2-lo's] you are now using although it may not solve the problem you are having with the OEM tweeters.
How are the front aftermarket speakers and the OEM tweeters wired?94

well i did have (2x) aftermarket tweeters installed and it had the same problem
i believe it was Logic tweeters?
i may have to ask the installer how the tweeter wires are connected to the front-door-speakers, huh?
i switched back to the factory tweeters because it felt a little heavier than the Logic's?
the factory tweeters also had a little magnet
but then again, the Logic DID seem louder with the high's
as for the aftermarket speakers.... i forget what the name brand is
i know it starts with an, "M" ....marmala? marmalade? something around that pronounciation
so will LC6 or CleanSweep get rid of that humming/buzzing sound?
or does the pairing/wiring of the front need tweaking?

Most likely not a wiring issue, you are getting noise induced into the system, it happens when integrating amplifiers into factory systems. As fcm mentioned, a OEM integration processor such as the JL or Audio Control LC6/7 will make a huge improvement. Alpine also makes a unit called the Imprint, great piece when installed and set up properly.

so i finally got a JL CleanSweep installed.....
running 2 amps and a crossover to 4 aftermarket speakers, 2 front oem tweeters, and 1 sub
for some reason... there's a noticeable humming noise coming from all 4 speakers AND the front tweeters (which is loud)
the manual for the CleanSweep states it shuts off the aftermarket amp(s) and anything else if it doesnt detect any input signal
yet, it takes about 3 minutes for the signal sensing to kick in and turn the amps off
has anyone else experienced this?
