I want to put the d16y8 motor in there but dont know if it will drop right in.Any suggestions?

 

No it wont drop right in, and honestly i'd have to actually work at thinking up a worse engine to swap in that chassis. Early model JDM DOHC ZC would be a much better choice.

 

Go with Any B series but the ZC is very hard to find parts for in the US. Id go with an rebuilt LS or any US model than the ZC

 

not at all, just buy parts for a D16A1 for an '86 - '89 integra. Its more or less the same engine. A b-series engine on the other hand will require an aftermarket mount kit, and a custom shift linkage as hasport no longer sells one and i'm not aware of another company that makes one.
