Icon2 Help - finding a skidplate

i recently lifted my slammed hb, to prepare for the winter months of Colorado and to give my headers a break on the shitty colorado roads

however, now that i'm lifted, i've got problems with CV joints going, my camber is all off and overall the ride quality just blows now in comparison...

so, Anyone know where i can get a skid plate that will bolt on to my 93 hb?

thanks for your time.

that's a wonderful suggestion that i have been putting off in hopes that i can just find a skid plate, bolt it on, slam my car back to the ground and achieve the best of both worlds as far as having the slammed look and wonderful handling i like, as well as the confidence to mob through unfamiliar terrain without the fear of smashing my headers on a small child who runs out in front of my car.. but yeah, unless someone can give me somewhere to find a skid plate, i'll probably just opt. for the alignment and quit my bitchin lol.

well i know i have seen people on here that have made their own skid plates. also. try a cheap H bar. better for the chassi and saves your header and oil pan.....

Fab something up out of a piece of steel plate, use the lower rad support and front cross memember as mounting points. I though about doing it before for driving offroad.
