Icon3 Help - removing bumper stoppers

k so i wanna take the little door guards off the sides of my car.

i'm talking about the usually black strips of plastic that are half way up the door along both sides of the car...

are these just held on by gromets? clips? or what.

please help.

The plastic things on the side of your car are called moldings. They're held by plastic clips that go into the holes on your door. Last time I took them out (when I was parting out my old Integra) I got a flathead screwdriver and broke the first plastic clip but after that they just kind of slid off....you might not want to go that route if you plan on putting them back on....
