Default crx climate control with h22

OK, so my climate control was putting out air and it was cracked so i figured no problem, replace it. i got a 96 climate control unit out of a civic and did a harness swap. plug the two cables up to see how it adjusted and it was still not moving. I was like what the hell, so i trace the two cables and saw the one to the heater control valve wasnt hooked up. I got out my prelude service manual and saw it only used one cable. so my question is, can i have a heater with an h22 in a crx? I didnt do the swap by the way, thats why i didnt know.

what climate control unit are you using? I'm guessing a prelude since the prelude only uses one cable wheres the crx unit uses two. If you are infact using the prelude unit did all of the wiring match up with the crx wires? IF you arn't using the prelude unit which unit are you using and can you tell me how u got it to work?

there is a valve on the pass side in the engine bay...you can see the coolant line going to it...mine was frozen..could barely open it with my fingers it was so stuck..try that

im using a crx climate control. just because the motor is different doesnt mean anything with the heater has to be differant. the heater runs off your coolant. maybe you just have a bad heater core.

no, you need 2 cables to operate both the heater coolnat valve in the engine bay AND the heater door to the heater core. the longer of the 2 obviously goes to the coolant valve.

*edit you can always reach under the dash to open the heater core, and hook up the valve with the one line you have.

yea, i kind of adandoned this post since some guys in the integra forum were dealing with similar issues. My update is ive installed the heater control valve and have got everything hook up and running only to find out water is leaking in car and no heat. SO today i box a heater box with heat core for $35 + shipping and will throw it in hopefully wed? Ill post some pics of my pretty 96 climate unit when it finally works. Thanks for the tips though guys.
