Default Type r dyno

I just dynoed my type r.. mods are

jdm b18cR swap
usdm tranny
comptech header - small
buddyclub spec 2 exhaust - with converter
b&m fpr
aem 3 in cold air intake with custom velocity stack

I have the chart but I cant scan it onto my computer

it ended up being 177whp and 120tq

my air/fuel was 15+ the whole run and even hit 16.2 AH!!!!!!!

the chart is CRAZY spiky everywhere throughout the run. it shows he ran it to 8500

I have a JDM b18c1 that put down 167whp and 127wtq bone stock. When I had it dynoed my chart was spiky as well and I asked the guy doing the dyno about it and he said it was normal. Don't know if it is but my car has been running fine for 4 years since then.

i know they r old but a vtec controller would do just fine to clean up those spikes and the air to fuel mixtures. i gained about 7 horses last time i got my car tuned with the vafc1

Those are good afr numbers during heavy throttle. Should be somewhere closer to 14 during mild throttle and crusing. But sounds like you've got a good tune in her

Wouldn't the o2 sensor give the proper afr during mild throttle and crusing?

The car is gettin tuned tomorrow.. This car still has a converter and 02's yes the car is VERY! lean I switched out my fpr from the b&m to stock and it raised the fuel pressure on the filter from 35 to 50 which is high but then again it coulda raised it from the regulator to get it straight again. all in all a nice tune will help. I will post both dynos if I can tomorrow

the car ended up puting down 172whp on a dyno pack that reads EXACTLY 8.6% lower than cincy speeds dynojet so it really ended up being 186 and 140tq and 1st gear is useless and 2nd is limiter for 3 seconds.. motor is a 96 spec itr motor not the 98 and the bolt ons ARE KILLIN ME dave blundell said with a bad *** header and test pipe it could pick up another 15whp just my o2

as for higher rpm afr, on a n/a engine you want to keep them in the high 12's or low 13's. depends on the tuner and how well the build is. i ran 14.8 at wot and melted my #3 piston from detonation plus being the cylinder that always runs hot.
