Default fixing paint runs?

i just painted my car with single stage paint.

i noticed some runs in my 1/4 panel and was wondering how i can remove them.

would sanding remove runs?
i dont want to re-do the whole panel again.

welp, here we go again with single stage, this is one of the reasons i hate single stage. Your pretty much screwed my man. You have to be ever so gentle with single stage when sanding and buffing out runs. Your most likely going to have to redo the entire panel or deal with the runs being there. You CAN sand and buff it, but the likely hood that you will burn through the top layer of color is Highly likely. and the run IS NOT going to completely dissappear because its a build up the material and with it being single stage you cant go down that far. Youll just mask it a little better if you can sand it down and buff it. But the problem is most single stages are so soft and brittle that a couple strokes of even some 2k grit youll start to see the underlying pigments and small solvent pockets. Not trying to damper your hopes my man, this has just been my experience and thats why we dont even spray single stage in our shop withouth topping it off with 2 coats of expensive, uv protectant clear that we can easily block and buff a run out of, as long as the paint is run free that is.. My advice, just redo the panel. Youll be a whole lot LESS frustrated if you just say screw it and decide to repaint it than if you get to sanding and taking tons of time and being gentle and it screws up anyhow.
