Hey folks,

I am in the midst of a swap. I have everything taken off now I am about to put the new head on. I try to put the distributor on the new head, but for some reason it will not go in. I line up the notches, and the holes for the bolts, but when I push it in, it will not go in without some force. I know it is the right one because I have the right serial numbers. Any help is greatly appreciated, as I need to finish this before Saturday Night.

 

Did you try turning the 2 pronged cam in the end of the distributor 180 degrees? Its offset so it will only go in one way unless you really force it.

 

I will try that right now to see if it works.
