I got out to the track and managed a 12.8 @ 116 in my DSM.

This is a 90 full weight talon tsi, im not sure how heavy it is but i believe around 3200lbs + driver.

Its on a stock motor, and stock transmission/rear end setup so i didn't really want to launch the car too hard. ~2.1 60ft.

Car made 356whp 310tq on a 'silver surfer' turbo. 22psi, pump gas, water/meth 50/50. The turbo blew after 3000km, so i replaced it with a BW S258 which is what i should have used in the first place. @ 22psi it took 25% more fuel to get back to a 11.5:1 AFR. Not to mention i hit full boost by 4200 instead of 5000.

Anyways, just how i did this year, car has more in it as well. Some of the setup.

SLS manifold, S258, 44tial, 3" turboback, SMIM, PTE 1000cc injectors, 255walbro, Apexi AVCR, AEM EMS, AEM water/meth, stock transmission, 3 bolt rear end, stock driveshaft/axles, stock 17" wheels with all season tires.

Not to mention im not the greatest driver. Im thinking its making over 400hp now to put a 3200lb+ car at 116mph without driving it hard. Considering i was trapping 106 with the old turbo at 356whp.

 

nice times i always wanted to drive a fast awd. must be completely different than what i am used to.

 

thanks, i wanted 115mph on this setup, and a 12 sec fast is decent the way the car sat. I wouldn't consider it fast, but it is fun, no traction problems on the street are nice too.

 

Car could go 11's with that mph. What was the 60' like?

EDIT: Your sig says 2.1!! I used to go 1.6x all day long in my dsm. Launch that thing!!

 

Im too much of a chicken to launch it, i think with a better 60ft it would drastically improve my 330' as well since when i launch it usually boggs and than takes a almost a second or so for the turbo to spool.

I wish i had a transmission that would hold if i launched off my 2step that will build 15psi than i bet the car would leave hard! Now that we have snow, i will have to wait untill next may or so to get some more seat time in.
