crank questions

Icon6 crank questions

I tore up my crank and spun two bearings in my gsr. mains good and rod bearing ok' will replace all bearings. my question is ' can i use a ls crank in my gsr? and if yes what rods do i use ? ls rods or gsr rods? any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!! i have a new gasket set piston rings bearing rod bolts and head bolts and a good Ls crank. will it work?

to make the ls crank work in the gsr block you'll need ls rods, as far is the piston rings and such go, i figure they should work but im not certain so i'd definetly do more research on that part

good question, i think all b series parts are interchangable even rods, pistons, cranks all work together you just have to pick the right combo for the best performance, i think ls rods with p30 pistons would be the best for all motor

well they they will work together but the issue is if you have an ls crank with gsr rods, the piston head would be slapping your valves and head since the gsr rods are longer and the crank has slightly different measurements too...the best thing to do is your own research so you don't just take the first words you hear into consideration
