Default broken trunk key

just bought a sol with the trunk key all messed up, should i just get a body shop to cover the hole? I'm thinking of getting an alarm installed so i can pop open the trunk with the alarm, or should i get my ignition, key doors replaced?

I Say Just get NEW Ignition And Door locks. Looks Good. And Helps With security. Its Hard to use a old honda key to open your car now..

1 call a locksmith if you have a hot GF tell her to say its her car guy usually will hook her up.
2 have honda make u a new lock which i believe they can do if you bring them the title so they know its your car and use your vin to determin which lock is yours
3 just use the latch inside to pop your trunk
4 get the alarm like you said that pops the trunk

Are you able to remove the lock assembly? If it is not busted up, it should be fairly easy to remove. If you can get it off, then I would go junkyard scavenging for a new lock cylinder plus several spare cylinders from Honda door and/or locks. Door locks are easy to remove. Cannibalize the spare locks for the little lock plates inside them, getting help from the sites below to do so. Study these sites and adjust the trunk key cylinder's lock plates to accept your current key.

I had malfunctioning door and trunk locks on my new used 93 Civic a few months ago. I fixed them using the approach above.
