Hey guys.

Here is a large QuickTime movie of one of my practice laps. It gives a good look at California Speedway's road course. Do not take it as an example of an ideal lap! I would have posted actual race footage, but my camera shut off on the warmup lap, probably due to vibration. The file is about 35MB, so if you don't have a broadband internet link, then be prepared for a long wait.

Note that this movie requires QuickTime 6! And probably a fast computer. Get it from:

Woohoo...downloaded it...too bad I can't do this at home on my 28.8......I'll have to watch it a little later as I'm supposed to be doing some work at the moment.

EDIT - I have sound, but no video...something about not having the correct compression agent.

Hmm. Doesn't work every time for me either, but it does work after a couple of tries. Are there bandwidth limits from we-todd-did-racing? And what does that domain name mean?

And note that it requires QUICKTIME 6. It is in MPEG-4. Austin, that would be your problem.

Yes, I think it's about 7500 rpm in 5th gear before braking, but I rarely take time to look.
