Default anybody knows what this gold thread is?

I bought this engine and it's missing this piece so I went and bought this gold piece from home depot and plug it in. does anybody knows if this will work on my B16a2?. thanks a bunch guys.

not positive what you are asking but as long as what you put in there has a hole for it to breathe into that black box then yes you should be fine.

thread lock is needed i used this on my old swap and it will leak with no thread lock plumbers thread lock works good .

You got it in there, so it will work. You probably jacked up the original threads, since the part you got is npt, block is likely metric (doubtful, but bspt is the alt thread).
The stock nipple isnt anything special...youre fine, assuming you used some rtv on the threads
