Default gauge cluster, help!!!

I bought a 4 door EX cluster for my CX hatchback. It's an EG bodystyle....

a couple of questions...

1. Why does the trunk ajar light stay on constantly? I was in a wreck, which caused the deck lid to warp, keeping my hatch from closing. Is this why, or is it just a wiring difference between 4-doors and hatches?

2. The tach seems to be off...I have a b16 swap and the idle seems to be fine, and the tach seems fine in daily driving, as the rpms sound the same from when i shifted with the Autometer i once had. however, if the tach is right, my vtec is engaging after 6000 rpms!!!
which don't seem right, because the autometer showed it at 5000 and the ECU has a mugen chip that lowers it...
why would it be so far off? it's a fairly low-mileage cluster that was taken from a 4-door in good shape...

dude im pretty sure your trunk ajar light is on cuz you just said your hatch doesnt close. what do you think the light means...IT MEANS YOUR TRUNK IS OPEN. why would you even ask this?

fix the hatch and then see if it goes away.

as for the tach...check the wiring around the dizzy.

okay...
the reason i asked about the trunk light is because i didn't know if the wiring in the 4-door and 3-door models for the hatch or trunk is the same...i sure didn't remember seeing a light for it in my old cluster...

well if that light bothers you that much just pull it out untill you get the rear fixed.

as for the tach. if you think its still good well it shouldnt be ur wireing or it just wouldnt work. check the internals of your dizzy. when the igniter and coil start to go out theyl tend to either read wrong or bounce.
