First Time At The 1/4 mile!
Im planning on going to the track this weekend.
I have a 99 EX just a CAI, Lowered, on Rotas.
I want to see what times i do just w/ a CAI, So at how many RPMs should I launch to have good times?
Ill be going back to the track & run it again w/ different bolt-ons to see what difference will they make.
Finally Ill be taking it after I put the b16, Ill be saving those time slips from day one to put in an album & see how my lil red biatch grows.
I just tought I informed u tech-members about my plans, but the main question is
What's a good RPM for launching?

umm ;launching depends on the track....u usually start my frist run at 3000rpm then if i get wheel hop lower it, if i get good traction then maybe u can go up
u should be in the 16.5 range once u get a good run

tried this.. lower your tire pressure to 18-20psi and launch at 5500-6000k let the bounce off the rev and wait until 35-40mph and shift..
btw.. i ran 15.7 with intake and rear section exhaust in my old 97ex..

i think it depends on your tires and conditions ...stuff like that..i got a 00 si and i launch at no more than 3500...oh yeah i also got it on steelies..i think that makes a big diff...but imo i believe that it is mainly the tires
