Default NEED NEW ENGINE!!!help with sites and places to find good engines for cheap

i need to buy a new engine for my
1989 honda crx dx
if anyone could help me out with some places to find engines online for cheap
i would appreciate it..
i dont need something fast
just a good engine that will run well
i enjoy my crx.. but my oil leak in the head prevents me from enjoying it
the leak comes from the caps in my head they are worn...
my engines pistons are scratching my cylinder walls so it'd be cheaper to replace the whole engine.....
thanks.......

the caps in your head are worn... alrighty then

good and cheap are not synonymous with eachother. its one or the other generally speaking. you can try your local craigslist. or if you want to purchase an engine online hmotorsonline is the best place to go. this is the cheapest thing they offer.

you would have to convert to from dpfi if you wanted to enjoy the benefits of mpfi though. otherwise your left with finding a stock engine somewhere locally. if you can find one i'm sure itd be ultra cheap. but finding one thats in decent condition is the key.

if you want cheap check the marketplace for people locally selling their old EF engines or check your local junkyards for used motors. i doubt you will find something cheaper then those two alternatives

Check local junkyards they usually have decent stuff for cheap, or you can try to find something on craigslist
