Bad wheel bearing...or steering rack?

Here is my deal, I just replaced the little white plastic bushing from the rack. Adjusted the big steering nut, and this had the shimmy shake removed for a bit. Now the shimmy shake is back. (Not warped rotors, or bad calipers, etc.)
My question is:
1. do I just need to replace the entire rack as it is probably bad?
2. could it be a bad wheel bearing in the passenger side causing the same symptoms?
3. could it be a combination of both?
Any good spots to pick up a new (reman) rack. I have pretty much given up on the Autozone garbage with the lifetime warranty.

check the rack and tie rods again.
if theyre loose again, then the rack is just bad and center worn i guess.
but you still need to recheck things.
doesnt sound like a bearing issue tho. its not hard to check the bearing. just rotate the wheel and feel for play and roughness.

Tyson you are the man. You helped me when I rebuilt it to begin with and you were quick to answer. I think I am just gonna get a new rack and try that.
Any one off shops anyone recommends besides the big boys for purchasing a new rack? Reading through a dinosaur thread from four years ago someone recommended an HF rack. Any help or thoughts on that?
honestly, ive never seen a rebuilt MANUAL steering rack available for sale. ONLY power steering racks. but if you can find one, go for it. just make sure youre not buying a power steering rack....
HF rack is the same as a DX rack. theres nothing special about it.
so.... youre not going to possibly save yourself some more money and trouble by at least checking where the vibration is coming from??? you did get an alignment im sure, right?
