i can only give you vague answers to you questions and i know that will not help you. PM member 94eg8. He is up-to-date and knows how to do this.

i can answer a couple q's though to get you started. the ecu will plug right in.

the z6 with a vx tranny will be great on gas and terrible on performance. vtec will take forever to get to.

the distributor will work.

as an aside, i can cut the plug for the 4 wire o2 sensor with wires connected off of an extra harness for you so its easier to swap in. or you can buy the entire harness that just does not have a map sensor wiring on it. just a thought.

hod do i do this witout swapping harnesses ???

---that i'm not sure on... i'm sure that there is a way to wire it directly off the new ecu... but a new harness should be easyer

--- I don't think so... from my understanding a vtec destribuaror is different than a non vtec
--- i have a spare z6 dizzy let me know if you need it

also when doing a z6 swap on a civic vx and i will use a p8, what do i have to swap/change ??

---asside from the O2 3-4 wire thing you will need to run a vetec wire
--- pick up a hayns manual it will help you with all your wiring needs

and last how will a d16z6 with a vx tranny work ?

---just like a z6 tranny but with longer gears :-)

i bought this conversion harness but dont know how to use it

---whats the story on this one?
---what harness are you talking about?
---gotta be more specific

did you not click on the link?
wrong...

yes you need a 4 wire O2

that i'm not sure on... i'm sure that there is a way to wire it directly off the new ecu... but a new harness should be easyer
(but if you clicked the link you would see that there is a way to DIY a conversion harness)

vtec-e i have never dealt with if you knew that it (the dizzy)would work than why did you ask the question?

i bought this conversion harness but dont know how to use it

I assume you mean P28 ECU? if so then just plug it in.

Not so well, its really geared too long for the any sort of decent acceleration. Even an LX/DX tranny would be better, but ideally an EX/Si.

Thanks for the plug Dave, i'd give you thumbs up if I could just figure out emoticons in vBulletin.
