Default rapid click in main relay.

heres the deal. cars a 91 ef hatch. motor blew. so a DOHC obd1 zc was put in its place. the car was converted to obd1 and all that jazz... however now when we put teh key in and ignition to the on position. the main relay clicks a bagillion times a second. and the starter wont turn the motor.

any ideas of what could be wrong?

Ussually a sign of a weak (dead) battery or poor connections.

I had the same problem when i did my first swap and it was the ground coming from the ecu to the main relay i would doube check of the grounds and then check the conversion to odb1 make sure all you ecu connections.

I had that exact problem when the burned chip in the ecu was bad. Swapped ecu's and it went away

This is common...my car has done this. Remove your Tstat ground, even if it looks tight and fine, and clean it thoroughly.
