Cleaning windows and mirror tips please.
When i use a product to clean my windows and mirrors out and inside my car, what's the best thing to wipe it off with? brown paper towel? i used those blue shop towels and they leave lint. can anyone give me any tips? i'm new, and thank you
the funny thing is i've had better luck using "shitty" MF towels, meaning, not high-end, to clean my windows vs. the high end boutique towels. at this time, despite pristine treatment, special care when it comes to washing sequences, whatever...most of my Cobra towels lint on glass. yeah, they won't scratch paint, but they lint.
i use advance autoparts multipurpose MF towels on glass. alot easier than newspaper and more effective at buffing fine cleaner residue. no linting, perfect results.

Also, if you want your glass to look like new, use Rain-X inside and out - kinda acts like glass polish/wax...
And why do people still use newspaper? its almost 2009.....
I just use a clean costco MF towel. That works best for me, I won't use newspaper because I don't want to scratch the tint. I do find that the $1.99 aerosol spray window cleaner works best for me. (ammonia free)
AG sells it. i've never used it but most stuff AG sells is good.

i've used stoner, sprayway, and windex no streak
honda has worked the best for me
i even steam cleaned my windows once and that did a great job but lots of wiping and time consuming
i get employee discount and sales tax i dont know what other taxes you get
Maybe I used the wrong word...
I bought a Caddy Coupe De Ville once - off a high-end used car lot in Scottsdale. LoL! Most of the cars were $60K-$100K...
Anyway, it had just been used for a trade-in... hood was still warm!
When I came back the next day, after it had been prepped, I couldn't believe how good the glass looked - like brand new - so I went back and asked the detailer. He said he uses Rain-X inside and out - and I've been doing it ever since.
This stuff looks and smells like lighter fluid, and you don't need much - especially inside!
Whatever it does - polish/wax/seal - it sure makes glass look great!
