Default TB spring problem?

this is a weird one...ok....i changed my thermostat and i finally have warm air! ahah ...so heres the deal, cleaned my iacv and what not car idles great...heres the issue....i go to adjust the cable and it seems like the spring is getting hung up...when i get it to idle right...i give it alot of throttle and it goes down...i give it a tiny bit and it gets suck...i see under the spring there is like a stopper type thing? should i adjust that??? or is my spring gone...if so is there a way to retention it?

Get's stuck as in the throttle blade jams in the throttle body. Then yes your throttle stop should be adjusted. I had the exact adjustement (set from factory) but I've lost it.

I found it on this site though.
