so my alternator went south on my ek hatch after 1/2 days of owning it. me and my bois figured it was theat when we'd have the car jump started and as soonn as we wud take out the cables it would die instant we tried many times and it woul;d hold power. so now im getttin kicked out my houser and have about 3-4 hours to fix it. i have a ls alternator here looks the same . will this acura alternator work on my car. its a b16a3 motor. i have lil time to play with or i am stuck outside with a car who dont hold power.

 

go have ur alternator tested it could be sumthing simple wrong. takes a few minutes to pull it out test it and if its bad throw a new one in. make sure ur belt is tight and in good condition and have ur battery tested also. go to autozone or advanced.

 

theres a fuse under ur dash to called an alternator sensor fuse check it out and see if its popped.
