that record is still impressive because it was done on a 3.0 47-88mm this is a 3.4 91mm but still i thought it was a auto car when I opened up the thread. Toyota really over built those cars!

The supra 6 speed wars are definately getting pretty interesting

darin snatched the record back on this past Monday with his 8.38 and the SW ran this incredible time yesterday

great to see them pushing each other

i am sure Darin isn't giving up just yet -- going to get more interesting for sure

if you compare their time slips in the thread posted and darins somewhere in this thread http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=516459 alot of the diff is in the 60ft so if they were to line up sw would have to 60ft just like he did on this pass (assuming the setup stays the same) to acheive a similar time to this one, I think that this was with a 1.25 60ft vs darin's 1.33 60ft

Are they running those 6 speed PPG dog gears for the supra ?

Or is it a factory bone stock trani?

what kind of ECU does boost logic run ? AEM , MOTEC ?

aem for boost logic(sw), motec for darin. It's the stock getrag that comes in the 6spd supra if I'm not mistaken

Congrats to SW & the BL crew. That 60ft looked like it was about to rip the car in two.

I am pretty sure SW will hold this record for a long time. Ryan said he isn't cutting up his car to drop weight and Darin said his budget right now doesn't allow him to chase down a 8.04.

I also saw after darin ran last weekend he was saying next step was filled block, bigger turbo, more fuel , so he is going to be stepping it up as well. From what he has been saying Darin has had some leaning out issues from the pump not working correctly so i know he def has room to imporve. And everyone wonders why when they ask me what car would would you get with all the money in the world...Supra Duh!
