Icon2 is it ok for me to remove my cruse control in a swaped civic

ok i have a b16a2 swap in my 95 civic my cruse control never worked on the d16 and i was wondering it it would be ok to remove it from the car and how too do so thanks

disconnect the connectors aswell as the throttle cables going to the motor and also coming from the gas pedal!

besides that just remove it, nothing will happen.

The only Cruise Control part you want to be careful about is the brake switch. You should be able to just snip (or depin) the wires from (a) the brake switch to the Cruise Control Unit (= the CC computer) and (b) the brake switch to the Cruise Control Main Switch (on the outboard side of the dash). The brake switch should still activate the brake lights after disconnecting the latter two wires. The wires to leave intact are the green/white wire NOT to the CCU and the white/green wire.

If I were you, I would leave the wiring as intact as possible, in case you want the cruise control back some day.
