Default Slicks

I was wondering if I can put slicks on my 13" stock civic steelies? And where do you guys buy slicks?

whats a stock civic Steelie width? 13x5"? You have to look at the slicks you plan to use. Most 13" slicks are in the 8 to 8.5" wide range. A tire or slicks has recomended rim width that they want you to use so the tire can have the proper contact patch to the ground. The general rule is to not go less than 1.5" of the slick width.

So if you have a 8.5" wide tire, you should not use anything less than 7" wide rim. First of all, figure out what size slick you should be running with the HP level you have. Then see if you have or can buy a wheel that will fit that tire.

There wont be any drag slick that will fit a stock 13" civic steelie.
