I remember reading that it's been done, but you need some 1-2" wide strips of carpet to account for the space it doesn't fill in on each side. So I guess the seat is more narrow, but I wonder if it would bolt in the original EF location? I want to go for 88-91 prelude seats myself, if I can ever find some.

Ive heard of it being done. The DA seats are 60/40 while the ef seats are 50/50... but i was wondering if i cut out the middle piece in the ef and welded a DA center piece and placed it in the correct location if that would do the trick...Any body know?

yes that would do it .....i was going to do that so i could match the rears with my fronts but never got to it ,and i think the latches might not line up so your seats would be loose but i would check to verify that.....

i tried it on my ed7, DA seats weren't wide enough and the clips were much closer together than EF clips. forget the seats, throw a cage in.
