Default To those running skinnies in the rear, what size..

...what size of tire on a 15" skinny are you Honda guys running to keep the rear end up higher than the front (so it appears) when running a 24.5-26" slick up front. I have a pair of 15" Flystars now, but the tire in the rear is TINYYY as it was used on a N/A car.

I'm pretty sure the standard MH size is the 24", MT makes a different size and I think they have an option for 2 tires in that size?

MT 24x4.5x15
MT 22.5x4.5x15

MH 24x3.6x15
MH 22x3.6x15

we have generally run the 24" tall ones with both the MT and M&H brands.

i kind of like the M&H ones a bit better, they are slightly narrower once mounted and a bit more aesthetically pleasing to my eye

the M&H ones are stamped DOT as well so back in the day when it mattered to us for a sanctioning body they met the rules when the MT didn't

24x3.6x15 M&H on Steve and Paul's H/B

24x3.6x15 M&H on Kyle's HB

26x4.5x15 M&H on Jeremy's HB and our Coupe

22x3.5x15 on my CRX. I think just right for a CRX with a small tire on the front, but too small for like a DC chassis.

M&H 24" and 26" comparison.

I feel that 24" is the right size for MOST Honda cars. You can adjust the rear height to fill the wheel well. 22" wont fill up the wheel well as much on most cars, unless its a small car such as a CRX. M/T has a 25" that some like to use. Its a good size too, but I think like James said, its not DOT stamped. 26" is more of a preference, it does raise the car up high and it fills the wheel well pretty nice. But it may look too fat and big for some tastes. Sorry, only pics in file I have for comparison is of our wheels.

Wouldn't the 26x4.5 help with stability on the top-end of the track since it is wider?

All the 4.5's that I have seen stick out beyond the wheel well on the rear and it drives me crazy. Spoolinmatt's EK is running the 22", I guess 24's probably would have been better but the 22's look fine.
