Default Need help with 98 Accord power windows

OK, no wisecracks...

Working on a 98 Accord with power window and power door lock problems.

All power windows work off their own switches, the rear drivers window works off the drivers master switch but passenger side, [front and rear] windows do not work off drivers master switch.
Power door locks do not work at all.

Yes, I have checked fuses, switches and connections and all are good.

Our ALLDATA indicates it is the drivers side multiplex control module, [built-into, drivers door master switch assembly] replaced it with a new unit, needless to say it was not the problem.

Local Honda dealer also suggested it was the drivers side multiplex control module.

Help me help me please.94

Maybe something is wrong or shorted in the floor harness? That's where all the wires for these controls go if I am not mistaken. With out the electrical FSM and wire colors for all the doors it might be hard to diagnose this problem.

I did post in the Accord form.

The drivers door harness plugs into the drivers side fuse box.

Just found out that the drivers master switch/multiplex control module Honda sent to us was a return and on close inspection we could see it had been installed, [mounting screw marks on the plastic].

We have a used one the boss is going to try on his 98 Accord, this weekend when he goes back to Calgery, to see if it works.

As I mentioned our ALLDATA troublshooting guide discribes the exact problem we have and the fix is to replace the drivers side multiplex controler, [built into the drivers door master power switch module] it could be that the used one we have and the one sent by Honda all have the same problem, what are the odds of that?

I would have thought that if it was a common problem I would have a responce at the Accord form.

Oh well, will wait till after weekend and see if the used one is a working one.94

LMAO, turns out, our expensive ALLDATA program is wrong, the drivers side multiplex control module is not incorporated into the drivers door master switch assembly, although a member on the Accord form agrees that the problem is the drivers side multiplex control module, he points out it is not in the DDMSA and linked an exploded view, looks like it is attached to the drivers side fuse box, just like the pass.side multiplex control module is attached to the pass.side fuse box.

The question is, why did our Honda dealer parts dept. not pick up on that???? 94
