i just recently aquired an gsr block and was wondering if all gsr blocks came with oil coolers cause mine didnt have one on it?

And if they do come with one will it hurt not having one?

k thx in advance!

My understanding is that OBD1 ('94-'95) B18C1 engines came with oil coolers, and that OBD2 ('96-'01) did not.

As far as JDM, EDM etc I'm not sure.

The year isnt on the block...its on the head only.

Theyre not necessary, either. Truthfully, its not really even an oil cooler, but an oil warmer. Coolant warms faster than the oil, so it reaches full operating temperature sooner.
...Id go as far as heat exchanger, but thats it...

.......god i hate this new layout
