turbo help for a gs-r

what precautions are needed b4 getting turbo kit?
i currently own a 94 gs-r. about to puchase drag turbo kit. my car has 95,000 miles on it. if any one out there knows what needs to be done or what needs to be checked before installation please feel free to leave any info you have. i dont want to end up with a blown motor for jumping the gun if you know what i mean. would a compression test need to be done, oil cooler, new radiator, etc...?
