Icon2 Caster

Hi everyone or whoever is left?
firstly i'm very sad to see these format changes tearing h-t apart, h-t has been an education & a constant frame of reference for me.
i've tried searching but just got some sort of error responce.

can anyone tell me the easiest way to attain caster?
i am familiar with the theory of caster but i am looking for the easiest way to get my wheels forward, iirc i read a thread on old h-t with an easy solution but i suppose thats all lost now

p.s, what forum is being used by most members now??

I too have been interested in adjusting my caster, but could use more advice. But to first answer your question, Whiteline makes a shim-type kit and SPC makes a camber kit that also allows caster adjustment.

Back to me, I have been setting my teg up with an autox alignment and trying to perfect it. I currently have close to zero caster. From what I've read I would want to be closer to max spec caster. Can someone please school me before I spend money changing out my skunk2 camber kit for a spc.

Caster is the angle between straight vertical and the imaginary line through the center of the upper and lower ball joints. Easiest way to attain caster? Take it to an alignment shop. No factory adjustment is available, sorry.

Low caster can cause wandering, whereas higher caster will give you greater stability at higher speeds. Too high can cause difficult steering, though.

So much I knew already. I was really looking for some integra-specific experiences. I've read bad things about the whiteline kit- like the bolts snapping- so the spc kit looks more appealing. I'm wondering if the cost is worth the adjustability in caster.

Also, I'm not on here all that much, what was the op referring to about the 'format changes tearing h-t apart'? I know there is a different look, but why all the hubbub?

Don't traction bars add the ability to adjust caster?

If you want an instant 4 degrees of positive caster, flip flop the front UCA's with each other. Then use the traction bars to tweak it to be even. It's harder on the bushings, so you may need to replace the inner LCA bushings.
