on my cluster the battery light started to blink
any one know why it would do this

tried to search but search is not working

 

often means the alternator is failing, but then it should be solid. get your alternator tested, if its passing, then check the grounds for your cluster

 

That's technically the charging system warning light. Do not continue to run the car, since you will run down the battery to dead, and every time a battery is driven to dead shortens its life even after a jump.

Check the alternator belt tension first. If loose, tighten.

i thought it was something to do with voltage

seen it a couple times on different cars, always was the alternator for me.
