Default slicks + 40* weather = ?

Is 40* weather cold enough to cause big traction issues at the track? 23" slicks, 327whp.

Every car is different, I simply left my pressure where its normally at even when its cold. From my experience you will have to simply check the air psi more often since it will change alot more due to the cool temperature.

**This was also in a camaro chassis car**, but slicks are slicks

I really have no choice but to run in the ~40* weather. I paid good money for a track rental at Virginia Motorsports Park, it was originally scheduled for over a month ago, but got rescheduled twice due to rain.
