I got my taillights today, the they are in pretty terrible condition and the "VTEC" sticker is completely peeled off, only the residue to the vtec sticker remains.

filed a dispute with paypal and would like a full refund or a set of taillights like pictured in the first three pictures.

The light in the pictures, are in fact the very same lights as seen in the front of the pack shot. Yours would be the second set from the top. I am selling several different sets of tail lights (again, as can be seen in the pictures) and at no point were any specifics given about preference for a set. For some reason this was not clear, and for this I apologize. I am willing to send you a vtec sticker to replace the one that is missing.

The only difference (minus obviously the sticker) is soap, water, some elbow grease and a little buffing/armorall. Picture taken under perfect lighting conditions.
Your parts are not "beat to ****", but represent 19 year old parts, with the price paid accordingly. Yes, they might need some cleaning. They have been used all those years.
Do you expect new parts?

And don't forget. I gave you a shipping quote, that turned out to be $20 off. But instead of hanging on to the parts to settle this (as you promised to do more than a week ago) I shipped them out chipping in the difference from my own pocket.

And after this I'm supposed to trust you to send the parts back for a refund, pay for all the shipping charges myself, because of a missing sticker?

They are vtec lights none the same. And a good chunk of that went into shipping.

This is what happens with intercontinental shipping. Quotes can differ slightly. That's why they call it a quote. Next time I'll just hold on to the parts until I get paid in full.

I'm not going over this again. The only difference between the top and picture and yours, are the fact that I cleaned them. This is not different than washing a car before selling it.
While you conveniently deleted your PM's. I did not. And at no point did we discuss the condition of the parts in a different fashion as stated in the ad.

However. I am not the bad guy here.
I am still willing to send you a new vtec sticker if you want one. I have been very reasonable up to this point, and I never like seeing somebody unhappy with parts for any reason.

 

well if you can send me a VTEC sticker then ill be fine with this whole transaction. if i wanted a 90-91 style taillight without the vtec sticker i wouldve bought USDM 90-91 taillights for 75. the scratches and whatnot really dont bother me as much as the vtec sticker on the center garnish missing.

so i opened the other part of the package today, since i didnt even open the outer taillights when i seen the shape that the center garnish was in.

first off the package on these taillights was terrible. the bolts that stick out of the center garnish that are used to mount it to the chassis are half the reason the taisl were so scratched up in the first place.

heres what i found when i opened the outer lights up:






now i definitely want a refund or a set of taillights like the ones pictured. this is rediculous.

My dispute through paypal was closed because of the fact that "the item that wasnt as described" was not bought through ebay. so basically nowdays if you sell something though paypal, outside of ebay you can rip them by sending them something that isnwhat you described.

for example, if i sell someone a diamond ring througha diamonds forum, and send them a crcker jack box ring paypal wont resolve the dispute because the purchase wasnt through ebay. they only handle non received claims.

SETI20, you told me youve been doing business through HT for a long time and that you have a good track record. All I want for you is to send me a good set of taillights, and I'll send these back to you.

Just prove to me your a good seller, send me the set of un cracked, good condition, fully intact taillights in a well packed package.
