Hornet 563T on Honda Civic EF9 SIR 1990
Hi,
After reading this post :
https://honda-tech.com/forums/audio-security-video-27/%5Bhow-%5D-car-security-1794938/
I decided to go the kind of same way.
So I bought the following for my car (Honda Civic EF9 SIR 1990)
DEI Hornet 563T alarm
DEI Dual Zone motion Sensor 508D (as nobody could send Crime gard products to Malta)
DEI Digital Tilt Sensor 507M
DEI Backup Battery System 520T
DEI Audio sensor 506T
DEI Power door locks 524N
I also bought some diodes for the added sensors, as well as some isulating tapes, connectors, sleeves...
So my questions :
1- apparently, we cannot put Dual zone motion sensor AND audio sensor. WHy ?
2- My first step is to fix and wired the alarm with all the original features. Does anyone has the installation guides on Civic like mine ?
3- Do i need to buy relays to have power keyless door lock to plug on the 563T ?
4- What is "Instant Trigger Input" as i cannot find on the security module
5- On the main, i have 2 red wires for constant 12v, and 1 red and white for constant as well. Where does it go ?
Sorry for the english mistakes, but i am still learning ;-)
Thanks a lot

Hi.
Thank you.
I had the manual instructions, but i wanted to know had made it on a car like mine, as it would have been more convenient.
It was not specified it was for automatic when i bought it, so i have to deal with it now.
I can still put it on manual no ? What's dangerous at installing this on a manual ?
Thank you.

The car can be started in gear, and at the least you could do damage to your car, [running into something if started in gear] and your insurance will not cover it or anything else you damage at worse you could hurt or kill someone.
For sure you will get no help from anybody here, and tread will be locked if you persist in asking for help to install it, there are more then a few remote starts for cars with manual transmissions, [even DEI has them now] return it for one that is compatible with your 5 speed, or you can get an adapter to make the one you have work in your 5 speed, both DEI and Peripheral make one, although I would recommend replacing it with one for a standard transmission.94

I cannot return it as i worked on it, soldering sensors, diodes ...
What kind of adapter do you mean ?
This is the only thing which is dangerous ? As i could not use the remote start (as where i live it is always hot) ;-)

Then do not install the remote start relay satellite, remove all but the yellow lead from the ribbon harness, [main brain plug] and connect the yellow to an ign. source, [hot in run and start] this will supply the main brain with ign. power.94
All the stuff that i have with, like backup batteryand other sensors will still work but ?
There is a remote start harness (H3). I still plug it this one ?
Thank you for your advice

As cannot find this colours on mine. Is it a relay or harness ?
The Hornet 563T does not have those leads, [built in door lock relays].
If your car has power door locks, relays are not needed, you will use the green and blue leads on 3 pin harness to interface the stock door locks.
If you are adding power door locks you can get the door lock module from DEI, it has the wiring you linked and it plugs into the 3pin door lock port, or you can just get a pair of SPDT relays and wire them.94

it didn't have when i got it. I am only the second owner but the first owner did a mess with it.
I am restoring it since one year and half.
Can i take a bit more of your time please ?
I have 2 questions :
- What do you mean by SPDT relays (as i have a lot of Honda relays that i took from my scrapward) ? i have a 3 yellow relays as follow : top 86, left 30, right 87, bottom 85
- Do you think i can still add the audio sensor (as in the topic i took the informations from, it says no Motion sensor AND audio) ?

OK, so i worked not bad today.
I have left to plug the following wires :
- white/blue (H1 harness) (-) : activation input. where do i plug this ?
- Yellow (remote start harness) (+) : ignition input to remote start : i plug it on Ignition Switch harness of the car (Black/Yellow) ?
- Orange (H1 harness) ground when armed output. where do i plug this ?
Thanks for your help please as i would like to put back my carpet/seats and plastics quickly.

SPDT = http://www.the12volt.com/relays/relays.asp
White/blue not needed.
Yellow, yes to ign. harness. [black/yellow] or any true ign. source, [hot in run and start].
Orange can be used to control a starter cut/ign. kill relay. 94

Even tough i have tilt and motion sensor ?
Where do you think i can plug it on ? as i splice motion sensor to the shock sensor ?
Maybe on the tilt or i think i have a multiplex wire somewhere ?
Thank you again
PS : everything is working fine for the moment ;-)

The audio sensor is a single stage sensor, it can be connected to any neg.(-) trigger input, like hood pin input or neg.(-) door input, even along with the shock and motion sensors, a diode is needed if there is a load on the line, or another sensor, [both sensor trigger leads need diodes when sensors are connected to same input]. 94
