My JDM hoist that i bought from ICB motorsport

Pulled out the garage under its own power..i was having TONS of issues with the engine harness lol i had plugs plugged up to the wrong things lol like for instance i had my TPS plugged up to my MAP and vice versa
so everytime i hit the gas the car would shut off lol haha fixed that..then found out that when i would turn the car on it would sound like a cammed muscle car until warmed up..lol it would rev really high then drop back down lmao sounded soo funny..figured out i had my IACV plugged up to some other plug that it wasnt supposed to be plugged up to lmao haha good times but in trial and error i got it running right!

Then earlier this year..as i was working on it...i did the DUMBEST thing ever...well i had tools in front of the car..so i backed up with the door open and next to my house there is this hill that curves up in my yard..well didnt shut the door fast enough and the hill caught my door and bent the fender and the door

My dumbass broke off 2 bolts in the process as well..im so stupid..

Here are some pics of a couple month ago..

And you can see the door

Did some brake work about 4 months ago to check everything plus i was hearing squealing

Found the problem with the squealing..Wear indicator was telling me TIME for new pads lol

The picked up some smoked amber corners from a buddy

Before:

After:

then was having some acceleration issues...found out i had some buildup in the TB...took good ol Carb cleaner and cleaned it out! forgot to take before pics.

Then did an oil change and went from Pennzoil Regular to Valvoline Full Synth Power 5w-30! Car runs soooo much better and idles soo much better!
Head even looks cleaner

Then since i broke those bolts on the door..i couldnt get in my driver side..so i had to climb in my passenger side door so i finally got that fixed and removed those 2 broken bolts and got new hinges!

my buddy corey doing the work! lol

These pics are from last month so recent!

THEN finally got around to slamming it! Only thing that sucks was that i got Egay coils..but a buddy gave them to me for free..lol dont ride too bad..but are bouncy as hell on big bumps lol

Here is with the front only down

Now the rear

The rear wont go any lower because the sleeves sit inside the rear perch witch sucks(egay coil sleeves ftl..but they were free lol) ..so i cant lower it anymore cuz half the sleeve is inside the perch but the front has another 5 thread left

Sooo now on to what it looks like as we speak...currently its at the body shop getting paint and body work done too it...omg..sit back and check out the terrible body work and dents and bondo filled hatch that it was before the body work took place...im having a friend of mine do all the body work for me and re-painting it R-81 milano red here are body work pics..from beginning to current! enjoy!

This is when he first got his hands on it!

I had a Bondo crack in my rear upper quarter panel..NASTY! looks like the car is infected with a bacteria or virus! and there was some rust under it..disgusting..

TONS of bondo on the hood! he thinks it was in a minor wreck..i think so too

Some small honda cancer but just surface rust

Me checking the clearance lol

After i raised the front up more cuz i after the suspension settled on full dump i started to rub making turns

Im running 195/55/15 tires..i wanna go lower in the front but my tires will rub..which tire size should i switch too to prevent that? 195/45/15? and what are some good tires? i was looking at the Kumho Ecsta AST's they are pretty nice.

And the rear is as far as i can go since half the sleeve is inside the perch on the rear shock preventing me to go any lower...BUT i can remove the rear locknut on the sleeve and get a bit lower EGAY coilsleeves FTL..but they were freeee lol

haha just some Egay coilovers..i wouldnt reccomend it just because they are pretty bouncy over huge bumps and when installing the rear sleeves half of the sleeve sits in the rear shock perch so your only being able to use half the sleeve..Egay FTL! but i got them for free so im not complaining too much lol but plan on doing full suspension tuning after i get new tires and it come out of the body shop.

Appreciate all the good words people! Yea ive got blood sweat and tears into this car..and my buddy is doing CRAZY body work on it! Im sure its gonna turn out NASTY SICK! i cant wait!

Plans next for the car:

New tires
New Valve Cover Gasket
New Rotors or turn my current ones
Find a nice CD player

As far as motor? idk..im debating on whether to buy another Z6 and fully built and boost..OR i was looking at some B20 swaps...

What do you guys think? i really like my single cams and have always worked on em so i know some stuff about them...but i also wanna do the B jump plus i like the trq the B20 puts down stock and the potential it has.

boost that bitch trust me you will like it, just make sure it is tuned right. it doenst even have to be a built motor for boost just tune it right and you will be fine. shoot for 200-220whp and you will be hanging with s2000 and what not if not beating them.........its a good feeling
